So far, I have tasted the diced beef, prepared as beef straganoff and some of the chicken marinades and cooked and steak mince made into meatballs and today, diced pork as a delicious curry. They were all delicious and very tasty. The only item I have been disappointed in so far was the luxury rump steak. It was tough and chewy. Not what I was expecting. But all told, besides that, all good.
This was my second order. A larger one than the first. I ordered quite a while in advance. I got a message a day or two before to remind me of my delivery which was appreciated. But then, after the delivery people had advised me they would be delivering 'the following day, I heard nothing more. I knew from 1st delivery that they advise you on the day of a delivery time, so when I hadn't heard from them by lunchtime I called Kimbers. You said you would find out what was happening. Almost immediately after that, I received a message saying they would n out t be delivering that day. I immediately called you back because I was not happy with my meat being in a box for 2 nights especially because it was very warm too. I was panicking thinking I'd have to send it back or throw it away. But kudos to you, Kimbers got in touch with them and said they HAD to find a way to deliver it that same day. And they did. So well done. It definitely would not have lasted another night in transit as the box lid was broken when it arrived. May I suggest you find more solid ice packs to go in the boxes. The ones you use are always defrosted when it arrives.
