Our belly pork has a lovely creamy layer of fat which will crisp up nicely during cooking. From our Gloucester Old Spots, the pork is tender and sweet, making it perfect for a number of dishes.
Our bellies are despatched with the bone in.
The Butcher: Many people roll the belly, but our cut is left unrolled. The distinctive layers of meat and fat show the true quality of the Gloucester Old Spot pigs.
In The Kitchen: This is an ideal joint for slow roasting, either covered in a marinade or with your choice of herbs and spices. Alternatively, cut the joint into strips, marinade and grill on the barbecue.

Site easy to use. Arrived on time. Looked lke the picture. Belly pork is the main ingredient of our Norwegian Christmas Eve dinner. The pork was the best l have managed to find in England. Will buy a bigger piece next year. Good taste and perfect crackling - but that l put down to the good cook !

Sensational! Reviewed by Sofa girl on 04 Dec 2020
I just want to say that the pork belly was absolutely sensational and the best I have ever tasted! Lots of lovely meat and not too much pointless fat like in the supermarket. Roasted it for 2 hours and the crackling was also superb. Enjoyed it with the apple sauce also bought from you, a lockdown treat! I chose kimbers farm after looking at a number of online butchers and selected you due to the excellent reviews and also due to the fact you had Gloucester Old Spots which I have heard are delicious. I also bought the same sausages off you, brilliant as well.

Gloucester Old Spot Pork
“Once you try Gloucestershire Old Spots pork you'll turn your back on the tasteless dried up intensively reared pork forever.” Derek Cooper on the BBC Food Programme
Our Gloucester Old Spot piglets are selected from a small number of small holders who keep them in a free range system, allowing them to exhibit natural behaviours such as rooting for food and wallowing in the summer.
We purchase the piglets at 8 -10 weeks, where they are moved to deep straw bedded traditional pigstys with an outside pen. The pigs are fed on the best balanced proprietary food and a spot of milk.
Using an English slow growing breed of pig, in particular the Gloucester Old Spot, the pork is sweet with just the right amount of fat to assist flavour and cooking - and the crackling is something else!
