I love coming to the farm shop in person; the meat is really good, as is the deli counter. All locally sourced. The café is also great. I have also ordered for delivery, which worked well
We had these a few weeks ago, simply roasted, which were really good. I ordered 6, & I have made confit de canard with them - salted then slowly cooked in duck fat, now preserved in the fridge. Looking forward to eating it in 2 months
These leg portions are a huge (positive feature!) Portion per person. Proper chicken
These chickens taste like chickens of my childhood (I'mm 66), before industrial chicken farming. They are a good size with a high meat to bone ratio, & feed 8 comfortably. I love that they come with giblets, a rarity these days. Bones & giblets make good stock, & the giblets are the cook's perk
These ribeyes are tender, really well flavoured, & are wonderful cooked rare on the Big Green Egg

This is the best black pudding we have tasted in a very long time.
The partridge breasts are so good and I am creating recipes to serve with them. Guests are expected to try these! The wood pigeon breasts look great and are waiting in the freezer for future treats

This almost feels like it has been beaten a bit. Not long aged, cut thin but wide, it eats well but is simple in flavour. I'd pay more to have a smaller, thicker, more aged steak. Probably better on the barbecue than under the grill.
Bought 4 with the intention of eating them occasionally over a period of time but two have gone already. Top quality meat well trimmed and nicely aged. Tender but with bite. I only added these on when I was buying some ribeye (usually my favourite cut but these are streets ahead of that.
