It makes a more tender roast and can be cooked quite rare if you like. It also makes the ultimate roast beef sandwich, being that bit softer to bite. Great for a special occasion.
It is a super complex and full-flavoured cheddar, one of the original cheddars, I think. It is very good in a ploughman's or as a cheese sauce, with a much more complex flavour than the mass-produced variety.
Everything was packed well and prepared as requested. The delivery was great, and they helped carry the boxes. Everything was well packed, with cold packs that were great for freshness. I try to buy as much as possible here. Local farms are vital and care more for customers, animals, and the environment. I recommend trying them if you have any doubts.
Great bacon cooks well without leaking water and tastes far better than most pre-packed kinds. For similar quality elsewhere you will probably pay more.

Can’t fault your side, just the delivery company, not enough notice to delivery time. It’s given at 9am when you have already been asked to be out when they come, should deliver first thing then we would be in.
Everything in this box was fantastic quality meat, apart from the ox tail. Our first time but found them after 9 hours of slow cooking they were hard and had no to little meat on them. Not my cup of tea.
Ordered this for family celebration. It was 2.5kg of deliciousness. The meat was sublime, cooked using meat thermometer serving perfect medium rare beef. The gravy from meat juices was on another level. We served 10 and there was plenty spare - even the dogs had some - they nearly passed out in delight. Great communication regarding order, it arrived on time, well packed and shipped. It was expensive, but this was a special occasion and we would’ve been 4x the price had we sought to dine out for this quality of beef. Great communication from placing order until it arrived bang on time. Would not hesitate to buy again.
I soaked, floured and seasoned , fried in butter and they were simply delicious! I will be ordering more!

Everything is great. We especially love the raw milk, best we have tried out of three farms. Keep it up. Only bit of dissatisfaction is free delivery costs an arm and a leg.
It's the perfect thick cut for rubbing and barbecuing. We love the texture and the flavour most of all.
