This won very high praise from the family. To bring out the best in this lovely smoked ham, we use a Jane Grigson recipe of gently simmering with leeks, tomatoes, juniper berries and parsley. Then we finish it in the over with a glaze of Dijon mustard and brown sugar.
Second year for us with a Beef Rib on the bone from Kimber's . This year we used the reverse sear method which resulted in an even more sumptuous and sublime roast beef. Did not think we could top last year but we did.
Sevice from the web site works just fine and the joint arrived well chilled on the chosen day.
Really lovely smoked flavour. We cook them as little rolls on a skewer to sever alongside the goose and chipolata sausages
Very good accompaniment with the goose. We like to cook them on their own and serve with separate bacon rolls
