A good old-fashioned product which is full of flavour.
Second time we have had old spot gammon - this time used a Hairy Bikers Christmas recipe, boiled first then popped in the oven briefly.
We served it cold having cooked it with a rub of sugar and mustard.

Good flavour but milder than the Scottish Angus I usually buy. I also prefer it cut into paves.
The pigeon was so flavoursome! Would say a 'shot' warning might be a good idea.
The meat was for a dinner party & guests were really impressed with flavour and quality.
