An excellent way to keep a stock of Dorset Knobs!
A real discovery whilst visiting Dorset recently. Knobs appear to be seasonal, therefore lucky to find some at Kimbers npw!
Well packaged and arrived next day. They taste great, especially when fried and cooked with a little garlic, onions and hot peppers. Only down side was the preparation time ... 2 hours! Highly recommended.
I bought the beef heart through the kimbersfarmshop website. It was an easy process, simple to navigate, with helpful tips too! After placing the order I received immediate payment and order acknowledgement emails, always reassuring for some reason. The order arrived the next day, very well packaged, and temperature maintained, using ice packs. The heart was truely delicious, so much so, I’ve just placed my second order. A great service and highly recommended.
For many, kidney, beef kidney is an acquired taste. A taste that I obviously must have aquired! I ordered the kidneys through the online order service and found the delivery, packaging and temperature on arrival to all be perfect. I simply wash the kidneys and leave to soak for 20-30 minutes in cold water then cut out the white fatty inner, a quick wash under the tap, dry off, and into a frying pan with a little raw butter, serve and enjoy .... and I certainly did. Highly recommended.
I ordered the Calves liver through the farms great online ordering service. Remember, the farm is closed on Sundays and Mondays, so be sure to place your order, for next day delivery, taking this into account (I didnt!). The Calves Liver arrived well packed in a box (with my other items), and kept at temperature with the use of ice blocks. The taste can best be described as earthy, rich and yet meaty with it. It isn’t something I’ll eat every day, but I sure intend to eat it once a week. I will be returning for more. Highly recommended.
A first for me, Keens’ unpasteurised Cheddar Cheese. I bought two (250g) pieces through their online mail order service. The ordering of the cheese was simple, with a detailed explanation of the cheeses qualities and arrived well packaged, with cooling ice blocks. I couldn’t wait to try it. I was not disappointed, the cheese taste like no other cheese (mostly processed), that I had ever had. Milked, made and matured at the farm, it truly is a family made cheese with a great Somerset taste. No more processed cheese for me. I will be back for more! Highly recommended
I was new to unpasteurised Unhomogenised milk and was a little unsure what to expect. I imagined the taste of milk, but maybe a little creamier? Such a basic description simply does not do this liquid gold justice. From the grass fed cows the taste is well indescribable! Thank you to all those responsible at the farm, not least of course the wonderful cows, for providing such a wonderful five star milk. I will be back next week (online), to order more. The delivery and customer service was excellent. West Country milk you must try it! Highly recommended.
It was less fatty than expected however still fresh and tasty
I used this milk to make homemade yogurt. I had excellent result.
Ordered on a Thursday and received early on Friday morning, perfect! The lamb was all I hoped for, thank you so much! Everyone commented on how good it was and asked where I purchased it from, I wanted to keep it a secret but I gave them all the link to the website! Thank you
Fresh and wholesome delivered promptly. Would have loved instructions on how to cook pheasant but that's my problem not theirs. Taste nice, good portion size and good service.
Best raw cheese I've tasted. Neither too soft or too strong, a well balanced flavoursome cheese, classic cheddar.

At last black pudding made in the proper way with chunks of pig fat as it used to be before fat was a dirty word. All the other ones I have been able to find have gone down the low fat route.
