We live in Scotland and love Dorset Knobs but can’t buy them locally. For the 2nd Christmas running they were out of stock on Amazon and the manufacturer’s website, so I was delighted to be able to buy several from Kimbers’. We’ll go direct to them next time.

Only thing that spoilt this is it has some tough strands we cooked it so it was still quite pink but oh well still enjoyed it

I had 2. One in the freezer, the other boiled, boned and rolled to slice for sandwiches, perfect - the stock made lentil soup, known in my family as HAMPY.

Nut and meat free, so served our 2 vegetarians as well as 7 others, one with a nut allergy.
We had an early Christmas! This bird was absolutely delicious, tender and moist. It had GIBLETS too, so very delicious gravy. It fed 7 meat eaters with a little left over for sandwiches that night. The carcase made for yummy soup the day after.
