Amazing. Packaging excellent, delivery on time, highly recommend, probably the best slow roast we've ever had, ideal for the slow cooker, makes a lovely slow cooked roast too with all the trimmings.
We started using when our butcher shut down over Covid. The website is easy to use, meat comes well packaged. We will continue to support, the beef and pork is the best we've ever had, whilst continuing to support our own butcher, who is amazing too. Thank you!

Lovely meat with a great flavour. Couldve used a larger cut of meat rather than 3 smaller pieces but overall it was very good.
This was a good size, it was fine but I think the haunch can be not as tender as other joints.
This is great but I would prefer a whole pudding ring rather than slices.
The parcel came when promised and was very well packaged. We're in a bit of a heatwave as I write this, but all the meat stayed cool and fresh...
I do like my cheese. But, as someone from NW England (who likes to shop locally), I didn't think I'd get to try this one. It's lovely - a mild, easy cheese, but with a delicious complexity. Do make sure it's at room temperature and eat the rind - it's my favourite bit!
OK, so heritage breed pork is never going to be really cheap. I bought this to cure and make bacon, was a bit nonplussed to see all the bone & fat - no worry though! I now have a 400g jar of lovely lard, we had a meal of baby back ribs, a fabulous pork stock... haven't actually finished curing the bacon yet, ironically! But it's looking nice! This is a well coloured flavourful joint - might not suit everyone if they're used to blander supermarket pork. But if you REALLY like that porky flavour and richness, you won't be disappointed.
Absolutely fantastic meat! Ours came in two pieces, one of which was twice the thickness of the other. Worked perfectly for our 'meat' appetites...
