I've not used everything from my order yet, mainly because we were struck down with covid on boxing day. So my reviews are for our Xmas eve gammon and Xmas day venison wellington. The remaining joints will be cooked as soon as we are well enough to entertain. I will definitely be ordering from you again soon.
For the last 16 years I've made Venison Wellington for Christmas dinner, and this by far was the best venison loin fillet I've bought in all those years. It was so well prepared that I didn't have to spend Christmas eve removing loads of sinew but able to wrap the first layer in readiness for the pastry the following day. The wellington didn't disappoint, the venison was succulent and tasty, I'm now looking forward to making another for a dinner with friends from the remaining fillet. I'll definitely be purchasing again next year.
The beef looked amazing, with decent marbling. It cooked even better on Christmas Day and was a real showstopper.
We ordered a rib of beef at short notice and Naomi couldn't have been more helpful. Unfortunately APC let us down on the delivery day, which caused a fair amount of stress. There was a complete lack of communication from the courier throughout. Naomi did her best to keep us informed and it was finally delivered a day later. Appreciate it's a busy time of year for the courier companies, but delivering fresh meat needs special attention and that's the only reason this isn't a five star review, which is a shame because the Kimbers side of things was excellent.
This is the 3rd year i have ordered our xmas meat. Having chosen a delivery date was kept informed of my orders progress. Arrived when expected, well packaged ready for our xmas feast. May order other goods during the year as the quality and service is really good.
Dont usyally buy beef as i dont eat it but it is expected at xmas by the family. Must have been good cos there wasnt any left.
When it arrived i wondered why i had ordered such a large joint. Sloced some off for steaks so it would fit in the pan! Cooked it in cider and it was delicious. It was all eaten so must have been good and absolutely no waste.
Tasty sausage meat, great addition to our Christmas meal.
Kimbers supply the best tasty British farmed and reared meat . Can not fault in anyway. I will only buy meat from local farms and butchers. Kimbers is my first choice for quality and taste

Every guinea is perfect, a lovely flavour and texture and makes the most wonderful stock from the carcass. I had roast Guinea and harissa spaghetti on Christmas day and Guineas noodle soup the next day using the stock....absolutely stunning. Many thanks Kimbers for your hard work and stunning quality all round!
This mutton is wonderful, the meat is so tasty and tender and I love the fat, they are perfect braised or for a curry.
This mince is the very best around without doubt, no nasty liquids and no fat, just perfect juicy meat.
These ribs are amazing, so meaty and cook beautifully. Very tasty and easy to cook to perfection.

We were never fans of the turkey Christmas dinner,normally opting for beef but this has changed our minds…. Will definitely buy from Kimbers next year!
Five years ago a local friend and private chef Philippa Davies recommended Kimbers and we've never looked back. We always pick up our turkey on Christmas Eve. Firstly we have breakfast in the cafe by the roaring wood burner and then we pick up cheeses, eggs and veg from the well stocked farm shop. The turkey, as always, was succulent and it feels good to support this local business.

Absolutely stunning turkey, not dry at all, very succulent. Easy to order, delivery scheduled as promised. We ordered from Kimbers a couple of years ago and as home this Christmas, we ordered again, so good. Highly recommend!
