Not being a great lover of beef, I ordered this rib not knowing what to expect. The butcher at Kimbers gave me cooking times and I made a crust and a gravy. Wow! My family were delighted with the result. I’ll definitely order from Kimbers again. Excellent quality, beautifully marbled, easy to cook.
Turkey very tasty as were the trimmings….really enjoyed the pigs in blanket that I made with the chipolata sausages and the bacon. Will certainly try some of their other products during the next year.

I’ve saved this together with the pigeon breasts for the NY Eve dinner - I use soy sauce and molasses to coat then roll in breadcrumbs & herbs, fry in butter & olive oil and finish in the oven. Serve it rare, sliced with a port & red currant sauce, five big star dinner and applause to follow. Kimbers product draws respect when cooked and served with love and respect.
Bought eight pheasant breasts - spread my own parsley gremolata wrapped them in unsmoked bacon rashers, fried in butter & olive oil then 10 mins in the oven.served with lemon parsley sauce green beans and roasted Charlotte potatoes. I got a lot of WOWS from my finger licking guests!
Thats what we call sausages back home! Not the stuff you get in supermarket - bland and tasteless like they're made out of toilet paper. These are meaty, slightly garlicky and very tasty!
I've cooked duck for Christmas dinner eight out of the last ten years and this was, hands down, the best roast duck I've had. The skin was crispy, the meat was tasty and tender, and the fat was deliciously flavoursome - it made for some truly excellent roast potatoes. Oh, and there was enough left over for duck pancakes - can't wait for those.
Have saved the, for the New Year’Eve dinner - looked so nice and fresh, last year they tasted magic!
