I bought far too big a piece as this did not 'shrink' much nor was it fatty. It was delicious beyond description. Some friends were visiting from the Welsh countryside and agreed that this meat was second to none.
The website is easy to navigate and I have had questions answered promptly. Members of staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Oh... and the meat is superb!
Because I make my own Hollandaise sauce, I am not happy with the replacement for the Tartare sauce. Apart from that, everything was packed well, and delivered cool but not frozen, so I made the beefburgers for dinner on the day they arrived. Will recommend this site to friends, but we do try to shop closer to home, and in Fife, we have a few farm shops, but no Gloucester Old Spot or real Somerset cider and no local veal! Your joints are also larger than some other farms, and you offer some game, so that makes you unique.
My turn to make beefburgers, with my homemade rolls. I cooked them fast, so the inside was close to rare, but nicely warm. Almost melted in my mouth! Best burgers so far and pure beef.
Just enough smoke to taste but not overpower. Nice balance of fat to meat, quite a thick slice and so nice to have the rind still attached! Another repeat buy, but not quite the same as US streaky which is cut a little thinner
I buy this for them as a treat, and it goes very fast - great addition to packed lunch. a repeat buy for us!
I am from Manchester originally, so familiar with black pudding, and most of them contain cereal. Yours is amazing, rather fragile to cook (so I aim to practice) but worked well with the burger - definitely will buy again

Used it in bolognaise, chili, tacos, stuffed peppers and meatballs. Always good, a little fat to bring out the flavour, so I don't add too much oil/butter in the pan before cooking.
My daughter roasted the unrolled joint with seasoning, cloves and pineapple slices. It is the best ham we've had in UK since returning from USA. Will definitely be re-ordering this in the future.
