Small for price and not something special ,I am afraid to say.Pastry wasn't thick and not raised.
The meat was nice .More like supermarket meat . I expected it to be hung for a while. It was too fresh and bloody in the bag.The fat should have been yellow.
Despite my issue with order date - they resolved it and the goose arrived . It was tasty and worth the trip to Spain. Thanks all.
Even the giblets for the Delia giblet stock were great. The turkey was every bit as good, if not better, than last year's from Kimbers. Nothing has been wasted -it has all been devoured with gratitude and appreciation
Ordering was straightforward, the website easy to use, the descriptions wonderfully helpful. I was confident that my order would be dealt with efficiently, and that the product was excellent quality. So the anticipation was also nice. And when it arrived, my turkey was everything I expected - and so succulent and delicious. I recommended it to my brother; he also ordered from you, and has been equally impressed with his tasty, flavoursome turkey and gammon.

I cooked the gammon in my usual way, in coke, as per Nigella Lawsons recipe. Superb.
I've not used everything from my order yet, mainly because we were struck down with covid on boxing day. So my reviews are for our Xmas eve gammon and Xmas day venison wellington. The remaining joints will be cooked as soon as we are well enough to entertain. I will definitely be ordering from you again soon.
For the last 16 years I've made Venison Wellington for Christmas dinner, and this by far was the best venison loin fillet I've bought in all those years. It was so well prepared that I didn't have to spend Christmas eve removing loads of sinew but able to wrap the first layer in readiness for the pastry the following day. The wellington didn't disappoint, the venison was succulent and tasty, I'm now looking forward to making another for a dinner with friends from the remaining fillet. I'll definitely be purchasing again next year.
The beef looked amazing, with decent marbling. It cooked even better on Christmas Day and was a real showstopper.
We ordered a rib of beef at short notice and Naomi couldn't have been more helpful. Unfortunately APC let us down on the delivery day, which caused a fair amount of stress. There was a complete lack of communication from the courier throughout. Naomi did her best to keep us informed and it was finally delivered a day later. Appreciate it's a busy time of year for the courier companies, but delivering fresh meat needs special attention and that's the only reason this isn't a five star review, which is a shame because the Kimbers side of things was excellent.
This is the 3rd year i have ordered our xmas meat. Having chosen a delivery date was kept informed of my orders progress. Arrived when expected, well packaged ready for our xmas feast. May order other goods during the year as the quality and service is really good.
Dont usyally buy beef as i dont eat it but it is expected at xmas by the family. Must have been good cos there wasnt any left.
When it arrived i wondered why i had ordered such a large joint. Sloced some off for steaks so it would fit in the pan! Cooked it in cider and it was delicious. It was all eaten so must have been good and absolutely no waste.

Kimbers supply the best tasty British farmed and reared meat . Can not fault in anyway. I will only buy meat from local farms and butchers. Kimbers is my first choice for quality and taste
