This whole leg of mutton is perfect for marinating in lemon, capers, garlic and slowly roasted. It also makes a tasty dish when accompanied with crusty bread.

We ordered 2 legs of mutton to be delivered on 20/12/2019, which they were. One was a present for my brother and his family. The other we cooked on Christmas Day as a change from turkey. My husband slow roasted it whilst I attended the stables in the morning to sort our horses. Simply seasoned with salt and pepper, it was roasted to perfection, the meat melted in your mouth, full of flavour and not too fatty (which lamb can be) serving it with mint sauce and redcurrant jelly, roast potatoes and a variety of vegetables. Absolutely gorgeous! We will be coming back to order more soon. Definitely highly recommended.

We have bought 2 of these legs of mutton for use over Christmas. 1 is still in the freezer. Our order came on time and as described. We even got a call because we ordered 2 legs, in case we wanted just 1 larger leg. Great customer care. We slow roasted one for the Christmas Party at the stables, where we had a buffet. The mutton fell off the bone so was served as pulled mutton, with rolls and a selection of sauces, mint sauce, BBQ sauce, chilli sauce etc. It went down a treat! Everyone loved it and commented how much tastier it was than lamb, that it was so tender, less fatty, just melted in the mouth. It was the centre piece and certainly a conversation piece. Highly recommended. We will be back for more.

I am not a lover of turkey. I always have something different and a bit special and this year opted for mutton. Delivery perfectly on time and well wrapped - an excellent service. The meat itself I roasted rare and it turned out amazing. - thank you

Delivery rates for orders from non-mainland UK addresses, including the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isle of Wight and Northern Ireland, will be calculated at the checkout.
How quickly will my order arrive?
Our aim is to dispatch all orders placed before 1pm on the same day (Tuesday to Friday), this is dependent on whether the items ordered are in stock. Any orders placed after that time will be dispatched on the next available working day.
We will send you a notification email when your order has been dispatched. The time your order takes to arrive will depend on the delivery option you choose.
While we always try our best to dispatch every order following the above guidelines, during extremely busy periods dispatch times may increase by up to one day.
What days will my order be delivered on?
Our couriers deliver between 07.00 and 18.00 Wednesday to Saturday.
Collect in person
You are able to collect your order from our premises by choosing the relevant option at the checkout. At this point delivery charges will be removed. Please choose your date of collection at the checkout.

All orders are thoroughly checked before leaving our premises. On receipt of your order we request that you check the items as soon as possible. If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, please contact us on 01963 33177 or email@example.com. Please have your order number to hand when you contact us as it will allow us to find your order quickly.
If you are unsatisfied with your order in any way, please return it to us within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. The item must be unused, be in its original packaging and be suitable for re-sale. Items bought in the sale are non-returnable and non-refundable. Postage costs for returning items to us cannot be refunded, unless the item is faulty or damaged.
We recommend that you send your order back to us using a tracked delivery service as we cannot be held responsible for any parcel lost during transit to us.
