This was a nice piece of hock but had a bit more fat on it than I had anticipated. However as I wanted it to make ham and pea soup it served it's purpose and there was enough lean ham from it to make two good portions as a main meal.
I have never been able to find Italian sausages online in the supermarkets so was pleased to find them here. I was able to make an authentic Italian meal with them. They were lovely.

I cooked in a hot air cooker and they did not shrink . The taste was excellent .More than pleased.

These faggots are delicious. I make a very simple ‘faggot’ stew, with Potatoes, onion, chicken stock and seasoning. Comforting and warming anytime if the year.

Proper bacon, as I remember it. Virtually no water or that horrible white stuff that exudes from cheap bacon. Nice and thick for a breakfast or part of a mixed grill, but a thinner slice would be preferable for a bacon sarnie, IMO.
I remember as a child in the early 1950's having veal, and apart from schnitzel this is the first time I've eaten it since. It has a distinctive flavour by itself, so the second one I followed a recipe including caramelised onions, and this was more enjoyable.
As presented this steak was easily 2" thick with a small surface area, so I cut it into two. It was stronger in flavour than I would have liked, or liked (is this down to dry aging, I wonder) and was quite dry, so for me the jury is out on this one.
The steak itself was nice and thick, just how I like it, not oversized and thin, like many. However, I found it much too salty. Individually vacuum packed a plus point, but on the basis of this tasting I won't be buying again and feel it difficult to recommend to a friend, sadly.
