Received my 5kg Aberdeen Angus Beef Chuck Roast earlier and it is spot on,I had a HUGE Instant Pot already waiting for the Chuck Roast.So I cut up about 1kg and seared then added to the stew,I used a nice Merlot for the juices after searing and now I'm left salivating for 6 hours 😰
I ordered 5kg of Aberdeen Angus Beef Chuck Roast and it is AMAZING,I've already seared a kg and it's gone into a Beef Stew but I'm waiting now for 6 hours watching & salivating for a bowl 🥣
Easy and straightforward ordering process, excellent communication afterwards and delivered exactly when they said it would. Can definitely recommend. Products are of excellent quality, would have liked weight rather than numbers. Found what I was looking for and ended up ordering other items too, none of which disappointed. Very nice quality stewing steak, which I used for Steak and Kidney pudding. Was v much enjoyed by all. Placed the order to arrive a day before I planned to cook it and as usual, all went smoothly.
Though very flavoursome, I found this a bit dry, but it may have been down to the cooking method. I used the grill, will oven bake or even fry it when I order again
Used this to make Rick Stein's Venison Wellington and will re-order when I cook it again. Can recommend the recipe and the beautiful venison in equal measures. Everyone loved it!
