This was a great purchase. I served the duck with orange sauce and used Clement Freud's old recipe I found in one of the Sunday colour supplement years ago. It had a wonderful crispy skin and tender duck underneath. Lovely!
My goose arrived on time in perfect condition. Because there were only two of us to eat it I cooked the breasts and legs separately so that I could keep the legs for another occasion. The taste was wonderful. I will recommend Kimbers Farm Shop.

Site easy to use. Arrived on time. Looked lke the picture. Belly pork is the main ingredient of our Norwegian Christmas Eve dinner. The pork was the best l have managed to find in England. Will buy a bigger piece next year. Good taste and perfect crackling - but that l put down to the good cook !
I poached this joint in apple juice and glazed in maple/soy/mustard and it was simply divine. A 2kg joint lasted a family of four all of three days.

I bought this meat box for my daughter and she loved it.
We have a gluten intolerant member of our family, so we thought this would be a sacrifice we were all going to have to make. However bar a little bit of seasoning these sausages are excellent. Being picky, a crack of salt and pepper would make this an unnoticeable switch. Texture and taste are pretty close to the full on classic pork sausage produced by this outstandinf butchers.
Colour, smell, tenderness and flavour. Cooked rare (2 mins a side) produced a perfect steak for each of us. The fat renders down well into the pan adding to the taste. I cannot find better steak.
Simply a superb chicken. Nothing fancy other than roasted this chicken was excellent. The meat throughout the bird was tender, moist and had taste! Highly recommend this as your Christmas feast alternative to turkey. Our chicken was 5kg, so plenty left over for Boxing Day as well. Six of us managed our way through just under half of it on Christmas Day.

made the most wonderful jellied stock and will be frying the knuckle pieces in breaded covering so very successful will be ordering again . I did add two osso buccos to the stock which was part of another order
This helped to make the best Christmas lunch ever. Coupled with a black currant gravy and red cabbage...went down a treat with all the family.
