Gloucester Old Spot in a traditional cut - who could ask for more on a Saturday morning. Proper Pork!
very tasty and something that little bit different.
Again, not always an easy thing to find - but very tasty when you can - from Kimbers.
Always brilliant tasty sirloin. Have tried many different sources for beef sirloin joint, but Kimbers is simply the best.
The meat arrived on the day I asked for it to arrive. The courier let me know within the hour on what time it would arrive. The meat was vacumned packed and had iceblocks around it. The meat is always good from this farm and its delicious in stews or pies.

Great for a Sunday roast, or the chops make a fantastic light meal. A whole leg cooked for 6-7h with garlic, rosemary, red currents, red wine and balsamic vinegar, in a sealed cast iron casserole. Hard to find anything better.
Nice bacon, mild cure with full flavour without too much salt. Cooks great, perfect for sandwiches or breakfast, or a midnight snack.
Great for taste, absolutely how you remember chicken tasting. Although large, very tender and easy to cook. As a roast, perfect, then made curry, chicken and mushroom pie, chicken and sweetcorn pasta sauce and still had plenty for sandwiches. Everything left made great stock for a huge pan of soup (butternut squash, ginger and lemongrass) with the chicken flavour, absolutely brilliant.
I suppose it might serve two but served one amply. Coated in seasoned flour and gently fried in butter, mash and greens what more could I ask for.
Meat packed and delivered well and on time. The courier went beyond the norm to contact me - my doorbell was being erratic and I didn't answer his 'phone call because I didn't recognise his number. He then rang Kimbers and got them to tell me he was outside the building. A really nice young man - he apologised when it was MY fault. 5 stars for him too.
Regular customer for a reason.
Great experience, it's always good to shop here, and the product is extremely good. Fantastic service always, including special requests for packing and trimming.
Fantastic and prepared exactly as asked, much better than available in supermarkets. As everything is so well trimmed and prepared, very little needs to be done but cook your choice. A good selection of cuts and the beef sausages make an excellent toad in the hole.
One in the freezer. The other made into classic English/Irish tripe and onions in a white sauce. Enough for me to have for two suppers. I love it so much and was deprived until I found Kimbers. The next pack will be cooked in Italian style.
I used one of the hocks to make Schweinshaxe, a Bavarian dish, In Bavaria they serve one per person but my Kimber pork hock generously served two with great crackling. I had some leftovers for a sandwich next day.So very generous. I forgot to take a photo in my eagerness to get the Schweinshaxe to the table! Next time.
Our favourite mix of flavours and not too dry.
