Coming from the West Country and now living in Lincolnshire, it is very difficult to find a butcher that makes faggots. Those bought from a supermarket are no comparison with the real thing which are rich in liver and heart and wrapped in caul and deliciously wholesome. These produced by Kimbers are huge and very tasty.

Tasty and full of tender beef. Unusual crisp pastry but nice and thin so it is not stodgy.
Tasty but a bit difficult to separate strands so cooked a bit lumpily despite my trying to separate out due to the fat content.
