This is the first time I've eaten heart, and I was somewhat nervous. Following internet instructions I marinated it overnight in balsamic vinegar and olive oil, then (suitably trimmed) cooked it to medium-rare in an iron griddle pan just like steak, then sliced it thinly. It was absolutely delicious, will definitely buy again!
I'm trying to like offal having been a lifelong liver loather (tho I like pâté). This liver is beautiful! I was so surprised - I actually really liked it. It's cut very thinly and has so much flavour and a pleasant texture. Well done, I'm a convert!
I've never tried raw milk before, and was really impressed with how lovely this is, very smooth and creamy-tasting. It just tastes right, and I wish I could have a pint delivered to my doorstep every day!

Come with rind, which I dont like so had to remove. Bacon is leaner than most with good flavour. Thick slices give minimal curls under the grill. Ideal for sandwiches, fry-ups and lazy breakfasts.
Stewed in stockpot with vegetables and herbs for a couple of hours. It made great stock for soup and the meat was exceptional. Minimal salt - unlike hocks I have had from elsewhere. Will buy again.
Have used one 500G sachet so far and frozen the rest. Made a great curry this evening. Meat held together and had great bite whilst still contributing flavour to the meal. Very lean meat with virtually no fat. Would recommend.

Put one in Normandy recipe with apples, cooked faster than the recipe ordained. Mine was 700g so smaller perhaps than expected? Definitely wild - hence tougher meat- not farmed?

I was scared at first trying fresh milk because I read mixed reviews about it but thank god I had no issues with taking it …it was very fresh and tasty milk .. I will be ordering some more soon
I’ve made a couple of dishes with this veal for dinner with friends and it’s always been a success. It’s so tender and falls off the bone. It’s delicious too.
Great faggots good size, cooked mine in onion gravy with added spinach. They were moist and had a great favour.
