Tremendous stew from this cut. Needs a low and slow approach but so worth it. Very tasty.
Had this on Christmas day and what a great flavour. Roasted for three hours. Succulent. As a bonus the ribs which i removed before cooking will make a great ragu sauce.

Cooked the gammon in the steam oven and it was succulent and full of flavour. I bought a large joint expecting to send guests home with some slices. No chance! We kept it all for ourselves. There was just enough fat for flavour - not to much
This was without doubt the most flavoursome joint of beef we have eaten in ages. My daughter cooked it perfectly- medium rare and it was the best Christmas Day meal ever. Thank you
I was let down on a turkey I ordered from another farm and Kimbers came to my rescue. I needed a large turkey and it was the 20th December and due to Kimbers excellent website and customer service, I still received my turkey on the 21st. On top of that the turkey was delicious and one of the most moist and tender turkeys I can remember (much credit to my wife also ;) ).
Although the gammon joint was more expensive than top supermarket, it was worth it for the superb taste that was praised by the 18 diners that shared it on Christmas Day. Simply glazed with ginger preserve and dark brown sugar, it looked great. Happy pigs, happy people!
They were really nice the skin wasn't to thick and wasn't peppery
