Actually tasted of chicken unlike most others.
Cooked slowly in red wine and vegetable stock, the meat is melt-in-the-mouth tender and so tasty. I added onions, carrots and leeks to make a very wholesome pottage, served with creamy mashed potatoes. Delicious!
This is cheese just as it should be. When you eat this, it makes you wonder what they put into supermarket cheddar. Delicious!
perfect for alla gricia & other roman pasta dishes. I put the piece into the freezer for 15 minutes to firm up before slicing & then cutting into small cubes. Much easier to cut up when it's chilled.
