We are very pleased with the quality of the meat and the weights were generous. Only 4 stars because the sausage skins are a bit chewy but the meat content of them was very good. The meals I’ve cooked with this meat have been well received with several “delicious” ratings!
Ordering was very easy. As we are local we opted for collecting from Kimbers’ rather than delivery. The order was ready for collection on the specified day when we arrived.

Purchased this leg for my biyearly curried mutton batch cook which turned out great. Made four portions with the most amazing flavour, texture and taste. Glad I could count on Kimbers. The package arrived next day via courier and was boxed extremely well with cold packs still frozen and the meat was conditioned well. Felt like it was fresh out of the fridge when unpacking. I have been looking for quality rare breed pork for some time having previously reared my own Gloucester Old Spot pigs. I was amazed at the value for money of the 1/2 pig I ordered from Kimbers Farm Shop. It filled my freezer and the butchery and labelling was top drawer. I have enjoyed the chops and joints and can't wait to try all the cuts in due course. A fantastic product which is amazing value and quality. Delivered in great condition and safe temperature. I prepped them then tossed them in seasoned flour and served with a pea purée and cauliflower velouté. Delicious!
my go to for 99% of my meats
with a tenderiser mallet until flat and wafer thin. mix with a little cornflour, oyster sauce then flash fry over very high heat. Add to a proper stir fry veg or make a sauce with onions garlic, ginger and more oyster sauce. yummy
