I cooked them until their skin was crispy - very tasty and not over seasoned as some sausages are these days.

I gave this as a present to my son and family and again to my daughter and her family. I prepared both birds to Paul Ainsworth’s recipe which meant brining the birds , then removing the legs and boning and stuffing them, then rolling them in foil and cooking them separately. It’s the best turkey I’d ever tasted.

It is the best turkey I've ever cooked and eaten. Some turkeys, even famous brands, can be bland and unimpressive. Not so with this lovely bird. Tasty with every bite. I am currently shadowed by dogs and cat who think they should have as much as the humans. Once tasted, never forgotten!

We were very pleased with the turkey, which was well packaged and arrived in good condition and was clearly good quality. It roasted very well and was a very tasty centrepiece to our Christmas meal.
The gammon joint was well packaged and arrived in good condition. Once cooked it produced a very tasty ham and we were satisfied with the quality of the meat. The only slight criticism is that the ratio of fat to meat seemed a little high for the size of the joint (1.5kg).

This was a winner! Melt in the mouth and full of flavour, a stunning centrepiece on the Christmas table! Easy to cook, this will be a new tradition for our family.
This was such a good choice, no waste, easy to cook and carve. Everyone enjoyed it and just as good in a sandwich the next day.
Found this joint too salty and difficult to carve as the different segments came away. Maybe I cooked it too much it was more like pulled pork. didn't like the taste much.
