This turkey was delicious, full of taste, juicy, melt in the mouth breast meat, and not too much leg meat, which I prefer. Best turkey for flavour. Although should be considering price. A bit of a muddle over delivery date, but was still fresh on the day we cooked it.
Very nice fresh ducks, excellent tasty flesh on duck. As an amateur cook of duck I would love a good tried recipe for roasting / recommendation of sauce for duck to come with it. Roasting times and recipes are so varied on line, it gets a bit mind blowing, especially at Christmas!
This is the second year I haven ordered a duck from Kimbers farm shop. Very tender and tasty duck. Will be placing an order again.
First, we were very impressed with the delivery- early in the mornng of the date specified. Packing couldn't be faulted either. And the goose itself was delicious, it cooked perfectly and was full of flavour. very tender -- and went a surprisingly long way! We would certainly repeat the process! Not being a great lover of beef, I ordered this rib not knowing what to expect. The butcher at Kimbers gave me cooking times and I made a crust and a gravy. Wow! My family were delighted with the result. I’ll definitely order from Kimbers again. Excellent quality, beautifully marbled, easy to cook.
Turkey very tasty as were the trimmings….really enjoyed the pigs in blanket that I made with the chipolata sausages and the bacon. Will certainly try some of their other products during the next year.
