Fried beef heart
Beef heart, cut into strips and fried with fresh thyme, served with chunky chips.
Chop beef heart into strips, roughy 1 CM by 1 CM.
Fry in olive oil and butter on high heat to seal the outsides.
Toss in some thyme about half way through.
Slow Cooked Beef Heart in Rich Onion Gravy
A fab tasty dinner for a cold January evening. Taste as good as steak ...if not better!
Cooked for a couple of hours in slow cooker with a chopped onion and small amount of stock. Thicken stock with 1/2 hour to go. Any fresh vegetables. SheilaL
