Best Piccalilli
Mendip Piccalilli to accompany pate on homemade bread.
We love this piccalilli - it really is the best because its not over-vinegared like many other shop-bought versions and is packed full of tasty vegetables - full of flavour but not overpowering, so it complements other foods. We especially love this with ham and eggs - or here as in the photo with our homemade chicken liver pate and treacle & ale bread and a fig leaf negroni. This formed part of our Somerset themed Christmas fare - and we will be buying this year round now for pairing with salads.
